Unimin Specialty Minerals Inc. of New Canaan, CT will raise prices for all MINEX, IMSIL, SNOBRITE, and MINBLOC brand functional filler products effective February 1, 2014. Price increases will range from 3 to 6% depending on grade. The increase is necessary to offset rising production costs and support necessary continuing investments in production and technical support.
